What You Can Report

  • Inaccurate or misleading information about an advocate
  • Violation of Bar Council of India Rule 36 (advertising restrictions)
  • Defamatory, offensive, or unlawful content (reviews, profile content)
  • Impersonation or fake listings
  • Data privacy concerns under DPDP Act 2023
  • Fraud, harassment, or abuse via the platform
  • Copyright or trademark infringement
  • Any other illegal content or activity

How to File a Complaint

  1. Email grievance@jaipurlawyers.com with subject line clearly stating the nature of complaint.
  2. Include the following details:
    • Your name and contact information
    • Description of the issue
    • URL or screenshots showing the issue
    • Any supporting evidence
  3. We acknowledge receipt within 24 hours.
  4. We resolve genuine complaints within 15 days, in accordance with Indian law.

DPDP Act Rights

If your complaint relates to your personal data (access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent), email privacy@jaipurlawyers.com with the subject "DPDP Rights Request". Resolved within 30 days.

Escalation

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach:

  • For data protection issues: The Data Protection Board of India (once notified by the Ministry)
  • For content / IT issues: The relevant authority under the IT Act, 2000
  • For BCI rule violations: The Bar Council of Rajasthan or the Bar Council of India

Bad Faith Complaints

We reserve the right to disregard complaints that are frivolous, vexatious, or made in bad faith. Repeated bad-faith complaints may result in account suspension.
